You get ancient debris in the nether, y15 is a good height. You smelt it in a furnace and you need 4 combined with 4 gold for one netherite ingot. Then use a smithing table to upgrade your diamond gear into netherite. Just keep in mind it will keep it's current enchantments and it's durability.
